EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)

EMDR is a therapy that allows the brain to reprocess painful experiences so they lose their emotional intensity and no longer disrupt daily life. It is often a faster way to process trauma—whether it’s a recent or single event (such as an accident, loss, or medical experience) or complex trauma, which can feel like a thousand paper cuts from ongoing stress, neglect, or emotional wounds.

Through gentle bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements), EMDR helps the brain integrate these experiences so they no longer carry the same charge. The process transforms not only how you hold the past, but also how you see yourself and your future. Over time, EMDR allows for shifts in both self-cognition and outlook, helping you feel stronger, more resilient, and more at peace.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is about living in alignment with what matters most to you. It combines radical acceptance with mindfulness-based practices, helping you notice your thoughts and feelings without judgment and stay present in the moment. From there, ACT guides you to clarify your core values and deepest personal drivers—the things that make life meaningful for you.

The heart of ACT is commitment to change: choosing actions that reflect your values so you are no longer stuck in dissonance, but instead feel intrinsically motivated, purposeful, and at peace. Rather than struggling to eliminate discomfort, ACT helps you create a life that feels authentic, aligned, and fulfilling.

Parent Coaching

Parenting a child with complex needs can feel overwhelming and isolating. I provide coaching for parents of children with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), ADHD, and explosive or challenging behaviors. My approach is grounded in collaborative strategies and proactive solutions, helping you reduce conflict, strengthen connection, and create more calm at home.
