About Me

I am a therapist trained in EMDR, ACT, CBT.     I work with adults going through difficult life transitions and/or feeling stuck in a state of anxiety and helplessness. I also work with children, teens and adults with ADHD, autism and anxiety. In addition, I offer coaching to help parents who are struggling with a challenging child/teen. Recently I have focused quite a bit on girls and women with ADHD and anxiety.  My current research is Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and neurobiology as it relates to the interaction between the autonomic nervous system and mental health symptoms and chronic inflammation and illness. I have a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and studied my undergraduate degree at University of Toronto and University of Miami. I believe it is never too late to have the life you want.  To live life as you would if you only had one chance. Here’s what we’ll do: Shift your mindset: We’ll focus on practical ways to manage your emotions, reduce stress, and navigate life’s challenges without feeling stuck. Real tools for real change: You will learn and practice simple, effective strategies that you can use right away to start feeling better and move forward with confidence. Acceptance that empowers: By accepting where you are now, and how things actually are, you’ll unlock the ability to move toward what’s next, with more peace and clarity than before. You don’t have to wait for everything to be “just right.” Together, we’ll focus on what’s in your control and help you make the changes that will improve your life today. If you’re ready to take the next step and start living in a way that feels better, more aligned, and more in control—let’s do it.
